Who I help

Supporting children who need something different

Home-educated children

A reliable, friendly tutor to support the areas of the curriculum you'd rather hand to a professional — without losing the rhythm you've built at home.

School avoidance & EBSA

For children who need a safe, pressure-free space that prioritises emotional wellbeing and rebuilds positive associations with education. I start small, rebuild confidence, and follow your child's pace.

Children with SEN

Adapted lessons to support a range of needs including neurodiversity and learning differences — with consideration of your child's profile and ways of learning.

About me

Over 25 years of teaching—and parenting neurodivergent children.

— Victoria Bradley

Hello, I’m Victoria, founder of Homelink Tutoring. I am a qualified teacher with 25 years’ experience in education—15 years in the state sector and the past 10 years in independent prep schools across Hertfordshire and London. I have taught from EYFS to Year 6, including 11+ preparation, and have held roles as SENCo, Assistant Head and DSL. Alongside teaching all core primary subjects, I specialise in Primary Science.

I am passionate about supporting every child’s individual learning needs. I believe a personalised approach is essential, as not all children thrive with a one-size-fits-all model. As an experienced SENCo, I have worked closely with children and families across a wide range of needs, providing both short-term support and longer-term tailored strategies. As the parent of neurodivergent teenagers, I also understand the challenges families face and the importance of strong, informed advocacy.

Throughout my career, I have seen the powerful impact of 1:1 tutoring in building confidence, improving self-esteem, and unlocking potential. I am committed to helping every child feel successful, motivated, and engaged in their learning.

If you are looking for a kind, patient, and experienced tutor who offers bespoke, child-centred sessions, I would love to help. Please complete an enquiry form—I look forward to hearing from you.

My approach

Calm. Adapted. Honest.

No rigid curriculum, no pressure-cooker drilling. Every plan is built around your child's profile, current confidence, and what your family actually needs from me.

01

I start with your child, not the syllabus

The first session is about getting to know how your child thinks, what they enjoy, where confidence has been knocked, and where the spark is. Plans follow the child.

02

Small wins, repeated

For school-avoidant and SEN children especially, momentum matters. I build out from things that already work — and add gently from there.

03

Strategies, not just content

Beyond Maths and English, I share practical tools — for focus, dysregulation, getting started on tasks, and breaking work into manageable pieces. I look for strategies that work for your child.

04

Honest, regular feedback

You'll get a short written update after each block of sessions: what we worked on, what's growing, what's still tricky, and what to try at home.

Common questions

FAQs.

What ages do you tutor?+
Primary-age children — Reception through to Year 6 (ages 4–11). My SEN background means I am comfortable working slightly below or above year-group level when that's what a child needs.
Are lessons online, at-home, or both?+
Options include: Lessons online, via video platform. This means I can work with families wherever they are in the UK, and your child stays in a familiar environment. Lessons at your home. This helps support children who need more practical, concrete activities and suits younger age groups.
How do you adapt for SEN and EBSA?+
Every plan is bespoke. I start with a short questionnaire and an introductory session, with no pressure to commit. From there I adapt lesson length, format, pacing, and the topics we cover to fit your child — not the other way around.
Do you work with EHCP or LA funding?+
I can support families using EHCP personal budgets or local authority funding — I am happy to provide invoices, learning plans, and progress reports in whatever format your case worker needs.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?+
Life happens- I understand family life can be unpredictable at times. I ask for 24 hours' notice of cancellation. All payments must be made at least 24 hours in advance of any lesson.
How do we get started?+
Send me a quick email or complete the enquiry form via the links on the services and pricing section — tell me a little about your child and what you are hoping for. I aim to come back to you within a day or two and will arrange a free chat with no obligation.
